In June 1966, the Summerville High School Class of 1936 held their 30th reunion at the Aloha Restaurant in Rome, Georgia. Twenty members out of the 30 who graduated attended. One of the attendees, D.P Henley, master of ceremonies, stated that only one of their classmates, J.L. Alexander, was deceased.
