These photographs, circa 1960, were taken at the Harriet and Henderson Yarn Mill in the Berryton community located between Summerville and Lyerly.
Harriet and Henderson purchased the mill from the Berry family in 1958 and it remained in operation until closing in 2000. Parts of the mill were demolished, and a recyling center began operation some time later.
