New Little League Queen Beth Bryant holds a bouquet of flowers while two other kids strike a weird pose with baseball bats. According to the Summerville News, Beth received a telegram from Governor Lester Maddox congratulating the 9-year-old on her new title.
The News also stated that $368.94 was raised during the contest. (Approximately $2,580 in today's dollars.)
