1968 Lee Lenderman Signs With UGA

Chattooga High School football quarterback Lee Lenderman signed a scholarship grant-in-aid with the University of Georgia in December 1968.

This photograph appeared in the December 19, 1968 edition of the Summerville News. The caption read: "Coach Jack Shamblin, a former football scholarship end at the University of Georgia, finished his football career with the Bulldogs on Jan. 1, 1960, in the Orange Bowl as Georgia beat Missouri. Here, he and full athletic scholarship signee Lee Lenderman smile over the turn of events with Georgia's assistant coach and chief recruiter, Doc Ayers."
