1968 Chattooga's World War I Veterans

American Legion Post 129 celebrated its 49th birthday in March 1968 with a program, dinner, and dance at the Memorial Home. Over one hundred people attended the affair. As part of the festivities, a special table was set aside to honor three of Chattooga's World War I veterans. (World War I ended fifty years earlier in 1918.)
