Chattooga High School Awards Day - May 1968

I found several photographs taken at an end-of-school athletic awards ceremony at the Little Big Horn.  I'm guessing it's around May of 1968 since we see members of that class, along with underclassmen.

The Bill Abernathy Award is presented by his widow, Alma Ruth Abernathy, to John Weems.  Bill Abernathy was my uncle and ran a small TV repair shop next to Hurley's Summerville grocery store.  Uncle Bill died in 1968 and the school honored its biggest football fan by naming this award after him.
