It's August of 1959 and I've just found a new friend in first grade. His name is also Greg - Greg Thomas to be exact - so that cinches the deal. We're destined to be friends for life!
"Hey, whatcha-McCollum." (Tugs on sleeve.) "Wanna hear a joke?"
"Yea, OK."
"Knock, knock."
"Who's there?"
"Dwayne."
"Dwayne who?"
"Dwayne the bathtub, I'm dwowning!"
"Hey, don't run off. I've got another joke for you."
"Uhmm, I think I hear Mrs. Jones calling us."
