This photograph was taken by T. Emmett Nunn for the March 18, 1959 edition of the Chattooga Democrat, a short-lived weekly newspaper published by radio station WGTA. The headline read, "They Have The Proof." "Allen Justice (left) and Charlie Moon, both retired from the Trion Division of Riegel, have proof that they had a big day with the lines as they display some 75 pounds of strip bass caught at Hales Bar in Tennessee. They show some mighty good eating to Hugh Atkins of the Trion Department Store hardware department. These one and two pounders were hung in less than 3 hours, they said, as they hit their limit. One of the boys in the background seems to be a little disturbed by it all."
