Yearbook Reboot - 1964 Chattooga Sequoyah


The Chattooga High School Class of 1964 was the last class to spend the entire school year in the old high school building on Rome Boulevard. The class of 1965 moved to the new facility on Lyerly Highway midway into the next school year.

The yearbook dedication photograph used another image of honoree and school janitor Freeman Hinton. This photograph, however, was cropped and included in the faculty and staff section.

The Homecoming Court included thirteen girls, six of whom are pictured above with their escorts.

The 1963 Varsity Football Squad was coached by Rex Cassidy (top left) and Paul Quinn (top right).

The Senior Library Club officers were (not in order) Judy Lenderman, Danny Hammond, Claudia McConkey, Paulette Johnson, and Linda Reynolds.



basketball team
The basketball team included, from left to right, (front row) Steve Thomas, Lefty Norton, Jimmy Hosmer, and Ray Busby; (second row) Charlie Lowry, David Jones, Coach Paul Quinn, Ronnie McGill, and Joe Pullen.
